board, bored...

I'm in con law 2 right now, and am pretty bored. The prof is interesting, though not as interesting as con law 1's prof. That prof was pretty fun. He had random teachers and administrators come in and sing about whatever we were learning in that section. One of my other profs came in and sang about the commerce clause while the con law prof was playing the sax. Interesting, right?

This prof is amusing, but the jury is still out... And it doesn't help that he's doing a review... Boooring. But hey, I supose it's necessary, sorta...

Well, tile 2 fell down today. I called the landlord and made him come and look at it. His reaction? "Hmm, I was looking around outside and saw lots of leaves on the roof. Once I clear them out, the leak will stop. So I'll do that today, and then tomorrow get some new tiles to cover up the hole in your ceiling..."

I was like WTF, mate???????? I don't know if he thinks he's pulling a fast one on me, but I do know that just removing leaves won't magically seal the leak in our roof! And adding new tiles may make it look nice, for a while, but sure as heck won't fix the problem. I'm tempted to confiscate the fallen tiles and get them tested for bad mold. Probably wouldn't be too good for him if there's bad mold that he's doing jack squat about! I will be glad when we're out of there. It's turning into a real slum, whereas before it was just crappy, cheap housing.

Anyhow, enough of the idiot landlord. I am taking 6 hours this summer, which should be interesting. One of the classes I was sorta stuck with because it was the only one at the right time for me. I am trying to keep days free to work at OG, and evenings to tutor. That way I can get me some money, which law school really deprives you of. they say you can work only 20 hours a week, and they put the necessary classes in the middle of the day. so you can either work at night, or not work, or squeeze work into the few odd hours here and there.

Anyhow, class is about to end. It's time to go home and work out, then sit in front of the telly all night. Unless Sampson is up for some Settlers...
But more on Settlers of Catan next time.

The landlord is a buster and I am sorry. Your place is really falling appart and the idiot isn't going to do anything about it. Yes cleaning the leaves off will HELP the problem but definatly not fix it in any way shape or form. Maybe when he gets up there he will see the prbably gaping hole and decide to do something about it.

As Eric said I think that they are to preoccupied with this warehouse bit and their other ventures. First I thought they were idiots and now I think that they are intentionally negligent using the rental money to float their other ventures and just letting the places go to shit you know? Bah, stupid slum lords. I still say if you wanted out the mold test papers will get you an auto out its required by law (Sampson has them).

I can't beleive you have teachers come and sing to you... my classes are never that exciting. We in the bio world spice things up by learning about things like hyena psudo penises and stuff like that, not by song or some form of alternative learning method. But I guess what eber works.
