Job opportunities 'n stuff

So, I'm going through my mail from school. Sometimes the office of whatever will email me potential employers looking to hire. It's nice, doesn't always work, but at least I know that the career people are doing stuff.

Anyhow, yesterday I get a career letter from them, or so I think. I read the letter, and it's for an online survey company. I'm like, ok, might be interesting, like pinecone, maybe.

Well, I get a reply letter that included the website of the company. So I went and read about it on the site, and ehh, I dont know quite what to think. Go and see the site yourselves, and see it you think it's any good. It's no pinecone (the research company crystal and I fill out surveys for) but aside from that, I cannot tell how good it is. Here is the website.

I don't think it's worth it, but i dunno...

In other news, I have 2 roofers coming this week to check out the roof. And I'm gonna start calling Ingolf every day, and make jerris and paul do it too. Well, try to make them. It will be fixed soon, darn it.

And as a side note, to people interested in the posts below, the 5 criteria were listed in Frontiero v Williams (dont have the cite, sorry). In class we have sort of gone past that stuff, but the prof is trying to set up a forum where we can talk about that stuff without talking about it in class, where there be idiots.

And that's all.

I don't know that I like that survey thing. The fact that you have to pay them is sketchy. Do you have to do that with pine cone? And their wording in the FAQ's is misleading. They also have a horrible warranty waiver section in the terms and conditions. I can't remember all the rules about that, but it's a crummy set up.
I think it's good that your prof is going to set up a discussion board. Those can be helpful. And Yay for getting onto Ingulf. I still think you should use it to negotiate a rent reduction with him. Did you take pics of the tiles before he threw them away? Thanks for the case cite. I think we went over that case briefly but not indepth. Hence why the elements weren't as familiar to me:) Love you fh.

At least you aren't being asked to sell knives door to door. If you really want to make money though, all you have to do is send me $50 bucks and I will give you a list of friends who are willing to part with $50 bucks. I can't vouch that it will be a long list, but there will at least be one name on it....

Have you been cheated by an online survey scam?

We will get you your money.

We didn't go through 4 years of Harvard Law to not get you your money...

I have seen stuff like this before and I am always wary. I don't want to pay to get a job... though I paid to get into school with huge application fees...

But any way, I usually look for some one who is open and honest and lets you know everything upfront like Pincone, ACNeilson or MyPoints for free. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

Any way, I am finally home and I will update tomorrow.
