Is Miers supposed to fail?
She has been getting criticism from both sides. The dems cannot control themselves and keeo their mouths shut. The republicans are concerned.
So what if she's set to fail? Then maybe Bush can come in with a very conservative background. the republicans will be happy. Bush can claim that if the dems dont confirm the new person that they are stonewalling or holding up the judicial process or whatever else he usually claims.
I wonder.

I had wondered about something simmilar to what your saying. I just know that I don't trust the man, so I assume he is up to something with this nomination.
